Miraculously, my volume is no longer stuck and the tv operates normally, going on about an hour. After multiple remote and tv resets over the course of the last several. All other functions are working.

If you program a remote with any other tv manufacturer, the tv inbuilt ir sensor won’t pick up the signal but the sonos will, not triggering the prompt. Previously the volume icon did not come up on screen when adjusting with sound bar remote. It is a fault of the tv firmware/usability/user.
